This custom queen Murphy bed was a milestone design for us—it was the first Double Fold Murphy Bed Desk we created, combining a queen-size wall bed, an oversized home office workspace, and built-in storage into one clean, space-saving wall unit.

Built from Painted Maple and finished in a crisp White Lacquer, the Murphy bed features our Christy Face, giving the closed bed a refined cabinet-style appearance. Nickel knobs provide a simple, classic accent that complements the bright finish and traditional detailing.

The centerpiece of the design is the 84″ Double Fold Desk. When in use, the desk creates a generous work surface for a full home office setup. When it is time to use the bed, the desktop folds in half and then stores neatly within the face of the Murphy bed, allowing the queen bed to open without needing to permanently sacrifice valuable floor space.

Built-in technology adds even more everyday convenience. A black charging station is incorporated into the base of the Murphy bed, with an additional charging station located near the left-side printer pullout. Black-frame Outset LED lights provide functional task and reading light while adding a subtle contrast to the white cabinetry.

Both side bookcases were designed to provide practical office and household storage. They are 32″ wide and have double doors at the top and 3 drawers and a drink tray at the bottom.

This custom Murphy bed is a great example of what a multifunctional wall bed can do. In one compact footprint, it provides a comfortable queen Murphy bed, an 84-inch folding desk, office storage, charging, lighting, printer storage, and file organization—allowing a home office, guest room, or flex space to serve several purposes without feeling crowded.
