This custom Christy Murphy Bed with Double Fold Desk was designed to turn one room into a complete guest bedroom, home office, and storage space. Finished in a clean White finish, the Christy-style face gives the closed Murphy bed a built-in furniture appearance while the oversized double fold desk provides a generous workspace when the bed is not in use.

Please Note: Our Double Fold Desk Murphy beds include a larger, more substantial desk system, which adds additional weight to the Murphy bed face. While most of our Murphy beds are designed to be nearly counterbalanced, the Double Fold Desk models require a little more lifting effort. On average, approximately 25 lbs. of lifting force is needed to raise the bed.

The Murphy bed also includes Outset LED lights, providing convenient task lighting while working at the desk and useful bedside illumination when the bed is open. On the right side of the Murphy bed is a 30″ wide bookcase featuring open shelving above and double doors below, adding both display space and concealed storage.

To the left of the Murphy bed, a custom corner bench creates an additional seating area while making use of the transition between the bed and office area. Built-in storage beneath the bench adds even more functionality without taking up additional floor space.

The room is completed with a separate stand-alone desk, creating a second dedicated workspace independent of the Murphy bed desk. Together, the Double Fold Desk, corner bench, bookcase, and stand-alone desk make this custom Christy Murphy bed an ideal space-saving solution for a guest room, home office, craft room, or multipurpose room.
