Style 134-0724 is a custom Extra Long Full Murphy bed with an inset desk, side storage, upper cabinets, lighting, and charging stations. Even though it is an extra long full, we priced it and put the dimensions as a queen. This design uses an FLW face style with clean vertical panel detailing and 6″ nickel bar pulls, giving the unit a bright, tailored built-in look. The bed and cabinetry are finished in SW 7105 Paperwhite, with the desktop and desk back finished in Classic Gray for a two-tone accent. The drawing packet lists Red Oak as the wood, an Extra Long Full bed size, Classic Gray desk accents, Paperwhite cabinetry, nickel hardware, inset desk, lighting, charging stations, file drawers, soft-close features, glass shelves, and hanging storage.
The single-fold inset desk creates a practical home office setup while keeping the Murphy bed face clean when closed. The desk surface and back panel are finished in Classic Gray, adding contrast to the Paperwhite cabinetry. A white charging station is built in below the desk area, making it convenient to power a laptop, phone, or other office electronics without cluttering the work surface.
The left bookcase includes open display shelving with the top three shelves made from glass, allowing the built-in lighting to brighten the display area. A white charging station is included in the bookcase, and the lower section provides additional storage. The right-side cabinet section adds even more function with soft-close doors, file drawers, a hanging rod, and adjustable shelving, making this Murphy bed useful as both a guest bed and everyday storage wall.
Outset LED lights with white frames are built into the Murphy bed area, and a bookcase light is included to help illuminate the display shelving. The lighting is controlled with touch switches, including a second light touch switch noted in the design. The unit also includes Mission base molding, scribe and trim details for a built-in fit, top closeout trim, and a base molding cutout to help the cabinetry fit neatly against the room.
This Murphy bed is a great example of how one wall can serve multiple purposes. Closed, it provides a clean custom cabinet wall with storage and a hidden desk. Open, it becomes a comfortable Extra Long Full guest bed. With the inset desk, file storage, charging stations, lights, bookcase shelving, and hanging storage, Style 134-0724 is designed for a room that needs to work as both a home office and a guest bedroom.
