This twin size Monitor Desk Murphy Bed is designed to turn one room into a practical home office and a comfortable guest bedroom. The face of the Murphy bed includes a work desk on the front, with space designed for a monitor to be mounted above the desk area. This gives the room a clean office setup when the bed is closed, while still allowing the bed to open when it is time for guests.

Please note that the monitor is typically customer-supplied and installed after delivery, so some pictures may show this Murphy bed without the monitor in place.

Stay Level Desk

The Stay Level Desk is one of the most useful features of this Murphy bed. The desk stays level as the bed transitions from the closed office position to the open bed position. This means you do not have to completely clear off the desk every time you use the bed. It allows the room to work as a daily home office while still being ready to convert into a guest bedroom when needed.

A charging station outlet is also installed under the desk. Wires can be fed from the top of the desk down to the outlet, helping keep the workspace cleaner and more organized. The charging station includes two standard plugs, one USB-A port, and one USB-C fast-charge port.

3″ Headboard with Charging Station

The headboard was upgraded from a flat headboard to a 3″ headboard. This gives the bed a more finished look and adds practical function for overnight guests.

The headboard includes a touch switch for the lights, along with a built-in charging station. The charging station has two standard plugs, one USB-A port, and one USB-C fast-charge port, making it easy to charge phones, tablets, or other devices while using the bed.

24″ Bookcases

The side bookcases are 24″ wide and provide both open display space and useful storage. The upper sections include shelving for books, decor, and office items. The lower sections include a pullout drink tray and two file drawers, making this design especially useful for a home office.

The file drawers help keep paperwork organized, while the pullout trays provide a convenient surface beside the bed or desk.
