The Horizontal King Murphy bed is flanked by matching 18″ bookcases on both sides. Each bookcase includes two adjustable shelves in the upper section, providing flexible display and storage space. Below the shelving, each side includes a convenient pullout drink tray, giving guests an easy bedside surface for a drink, phone, glasses, or other small items without taking up additional floor space.

Each bookcase also includes two standard storage drawers, adding concealed storage for linens, clothing, or other bedroom essentials. Integrated charging stations make it easy to keep phones and other devices powered, while cord-management openings help keep wiring organized.

Lighting was incorporated throughout the design as well. The Murphy bed section includes black-framed LED lighting, while both bookcases have their own matching LED lights. A dedicated touch switch controls the bookcase lighting, and the bed section includes its own light touch control near the headboard for convenient access while the bed is open.

Additional installation details were built into the unit to help it fit cleanly against the room. The design includes a 6″ base molding cutout, allowing the bed cabinet to sit flush against the back wall while providing space behind the bookcases for wiring.
