Style #138-0821 is a custom queen-size Murphy bed designed to combine a comfortable guest bed, functional home office, and generous storage into one space-saving wall unit. Built from Maple and finished in Sherwin-Williams SW 6249 Storm Cloud, this Murphy bed features clean Shaker-style detailing accented with brushed nickel 6″ bar pulls for a crisp, versatile look. 138-0821 Drawing

The integrated Inset Desk transforms the Murphy bed into a practical workstation while keeping the room open and organized. Our Inset Desk is typically approximately 53″ wide × 31″ deep and is cleverly hidden within the face of the Murphy bed. When the desk is no longer needed, it folds back into the bed face to free up additional floor space. This design makes the Murphy bed ideal for a home office, guest bedroom, flex room, or any space that needs to serve more than one purpose.

Storage surrounds the bed on both sides. The left bookcase includes three adjustable open shelves with lower drawer storage, while the opposite bookcase combines open adjustable shelving with additional concealed storage. The design also includes adjustable shelves behind the upper doors and a printer pullout behind the lower cabinet door, giving office equipment a dedicated place without leaving it exposed. An added 30″ upper bookcase extends across the top of the Murphy bed, providing additional open display space along with enclosed upper storage. The cabinetry is finished with Standard Crown molding and Mission Base molding, helping the entire Murphy bed system read as a coordinated piece of custom built-in furniture rather than simply a fold-down bed. 138-0821 Drawing
