This custom Queen Christy Murphy bed with Inset Desk is designed to turn one room into a comfortable guest bedroom, home office, and organized storage space. Built from Painted Maple and finished in White Lacquer, Style 138-1024 features the clean, paneled Christy face with Standard Crown and Standard Base molding. The Murphy bed includes our Single Fold Inset Desk, a space-saving desk system that is hidden within the face of the Murphy bed when not in use. The Inset Desk is typically approximately 53″ wide x 31″ deep, providing a generous work surface for a laptop, paperwork, or everyday office use. When additional floor space is needed, the desk folds back up into the Murphy bed face, helping the room transition easily between office and bedroom use. Matching 32″ wide bookcases flank both sides of the bed and provide a combination of open shelving and functional lower storage. Each bookcase includes three adjustable shelves with 1-1/2″ stiffeners, soft-close file drawers, and a convenient pullout tray. The left bookcase also includes a dedicated printer pullout, allowing a printer to be stored neatly within the cabinetry and pulled forward when needed. Guevara Drawing Revision 2

Lighting is incorporated throughout the Murphy bed system with Outset LED Murphy Bed Lights and LED bookcase lighting, all finished with white frames. A second touch plate provides convenient lighting control in addition to the touch control located at the headboard. A white charging station in the Murphy bed base adds accessible power for phones, tablets, and other electronics. Guevara Drawing Revision 2

The bookcase lower sections were raised specifically to accommodate the Standard Base molding and file drawer configuration, while the bookcase height and depth were customized for this installation. Together, the integrated desk, file storage, printer pullout, lighting, charging, and shelving make this custom Murphy bed a practical solution for a home office, guest bedroom, multipurpose room, or space-saving bedroom.
