Massive Murphy Bed 138-1124

Style 138-1124 is a highly customized full-size Murphy bed with sofa, double fold desk, bookcases, upper cabinetry, integrated lighting, charging stations, and extensive drawer storage. Built from stained Maple and finished in Classic Gray, this multifunctional wall bed was designed to turn one room into a comfortable living area, home office, guest bedroom, and organized storage space. The cabinetry is finished with 6″ nickel bar pulls, Mission Crown molding, and matching built-ins for a cohesive furniture-style appearance. Please Note: Our Double Fold Desk Murphy beds include a larger, more substantial desk system, which adds additional weight to the Murphy bed face. While most of our Murphy beds are designed to be nearly counterbalanced, the Double Fold Desk models require a little more lifting effort. On average, approximately 25 lbs. of lifting force is needed to raise the bed.

At the center is our Christy Face with Double Fold Inset Desk. When the Murphy bed is closed, the desk opens to create a generous work surface approximately 78″ long × 28″ deep. When it is time to use the bed, the desk folds in sections and stores neatly within the Murphy bed face, allowing the room to transition from office to bedroom without requiring a separate freestanding desk. A custom sofa is integrated into the front of the Murphy bed, providing comfortable everyday seating while the bed is closed. The sofa base includes built-in storage, adding another useful place to keep blankets, pillows, or other guest-room essentials. Both sides of the wall bed feature extensive custom bookcase storage. The design includes seven exposed adjustable glass shelves, mid-sections with doors and an adjustable shelf, and pullout drink trays on the cabinets directly beside the bed. Black charging stations are incorporated into the bookcases and mid-sections, giving the room several convenient locations for powering phones, tablets, laptops, and other devices. The lower cabinetry provides a combination of standard drawers and soft-close file drawers, making this Murphy bed particularly well suited for a home office. One side includes one file drawer and two standard drawers, while the other includes two soft-close file drawers. The drawers include locks that are keyed alike for convenient secure storage. Across the top, an upper bookcase system with frosted glass inserts and soft-close doors adds substantial enclosed storage while giving the unit a finished built-in appearance. The lighting package includes black-frame Outset LED Murphy bed lights along with black-frame LED bookcase lights in all three sections, providing practical task, display, and bedside illumination.
