These Murphy beds are designed to look like a built-in entertainment center, blending seamlessly into your living space while still providing a full-function bed.
We integrate a television—and in some cases a sound bar—directly into the face of the bed to create the appearance of a true entertainment unit. In most cases, the TV is supplied by the customer, allowing you to choose the exact model that fits your preferences.
The most commonly used option is the Samsung The Frame LS003 Series in the 55″ size. This TV is especially well-suited for this application because it mounts tight to the wall and features a low-profile power connection. All media connections (HDMI, cable, etc.) are handled through an external box, connected by a very thin, nearly invisible wire. This makes it ideal for a clean, built-in look.
We’ve successfully incorporated TVs ranging from 46″ to 65″. While larger sizes have been tested, we typically recommend staying within this range to maintain smooth and reliable operation when opening and closing the bed.
These units are built using the Create-A-Bed Murphy Bed Mechanism. The wood frame and adjustable piston system provide the strength and flexibility needed to safely support the integrated TV while allowing it to be recessed into the face of the bed.
Please note that we are not an electronics dealer. We recommend that customers purchase their own TV and/or sound bar and have it shipped directly to our shop. This ensures that you retain full warranty coverage and documentation for your electronics.

How do you get the TV?
We are not an electronics dealer, and we want you to have the freedom to choose your preferred television. You will need to supply the TV. There are several ways to get it to us, but the most common is to order it online and use our address as the shipping destination.
What size TV can we put in the Murphy Bed?
We typically prefer to limit the size to a 55″ television, though it largely depends on the specific TV model and its weight.
Can a TV be laid flat?
Most manufacturers advise against transporting televisions lying down because the rough handling during transport could cause damage. However, if properly supported, it is possible to lay the TV flat.
What is the best TV to use in a Murphy Bed?
We’ve found that the Samsung Frame works exceptionally well. Its fiber optic connection to the One Connect Box minimizes the wiring required for the TV, making installation simple and hassle-free.
Can I connect my DVD player or cable box to the Murphy Bed TV?
Yes, HDMI wires can be run as normal. The frame has the One Connect Box to make it easy. Wifi is always an option for a lot of streaming services.
Can a sound bar be added
Yes, a soundbar can be added to the Murphy bed. Since the beds are custom-designed, there are plenty of placement options. Typically, the soundbar is positioned just below the TV. Most soundbars connect via Wi-Fi, but we can provide access points if hardwiring is required.
Can I see what the Murphy Bed will look like with a specific TV size?
Yes, once the order is placed, we will create a scaled rendering of the Murphy bed with your chosen television. This allows you to see how it will look in a room setting. After your approval, the TV can be ordered
