This custom New Yorker Murphy Bed combines a traditional built-in look with a highly functional hidden inset desk, making it an excellent choice for a home office, guest room, or multipurpose space.

The inset desk is concealed within the Murphy bed when not in use, allowing the unit to maintain a clean, furniture-style appearance while still providing a comfortable workspace when needed. When it is time for guests, the desk stores away and the Murphy bed opens to transform the room into a bedroom.

A pair of 20″ wide side bookcases provides additional storage on each side of the bed. The upper section of each bookcase is enclosed with a door, while the lower section includes a pull-out drink tray and two standard drawers for convenient bedside or office storage.

To maximize the available wall space, an additional upper bookcase with doors spans across the top of the Murphy bed and side cabinets. This added cabinetry provides valuable enclosed storage while giving the entire Murphy bed system a substantial, built-in appearance.

This New Yorker Murphy Bed also includes inset lighting above the bed area, along with our standard crown molding and standard base molding to complete the traditional design.
