Dry Erase Murphy Bed 1226-0719

This custom Dry Erase Murphy Bed is designed for rooms that need to work harder without feeling crowded. By combining a full-size writing surface, a stay level desk, and a hidden bed system, this Murphy bed creates a practical home office, study space, guest room, or multi-use room all in one clean design.

Above the desk, we added a large dry erase panel framed with a 5″ wood frame. The dry erase board gives you plenty of space for notes, schedules, reminders, brainstorming, schoolwork, or daily planning. Instead of using standard pulls, coat hangers were installed on the frame, adding a functional touch that can be used for jackets, bags, hats, or accessories.

The desk is our stay level desk, which means it remains level as the bed opens and closes. This makes it much easier to keep everyday desk items in place without having to fully clear the workspace every time the bed is used. An outlet was also added under the desk, giving convenient access for charging a laptop, phone, tablet, or other electronics.

This Murphy bed also includes Outset lights. Instead of the standard two-light setup, this build features four lights across the top, providing better coverage over the dry erase board and desk area. The dark wood finish, wide frame, and built-in lighting give the piece a bold, furniture-style look while still keeping the focus on function and space savings.
