Christy Murphy Bed #138-1123

Style 138-1123 is a custom queen Murphy bed designed to combine a comfortable guest bed, a full-size home office workspace, display shelving, and enclosed storage into one built-in wall unit. Built in Oak and finished in Classic Grey Stain, this piston-operated queen Murphy bed is accented with Craftsman-style satin nickel knobs, giving the entire system a clean, transitional furniture look.

The centerpiece of the design is a Craftsman-style Single-Fold Inset Desk. When the Murphy bed is closed, the desk folds out to create a generous work surface, then folds back into the face of the bed when the room needs to transition from office to bedroom. The Murphy bed also includes Outset LED lights with silver frames, providing convenient lighting when the bed is open.

Four bookcase sections surround the queen Murphy bed and provide a combination of display space and concealed storage. The upper sections feature 12 adjustable glass shelves along with integrated LED bookcase lighting with silver frames. Touch controls are incorporated into the bookcases, with an additional touch plate located at the headboard for convenient light control.

The lower bookcase sections add everyday functionality with four standard drawers, enclosed cabinet storage, and pull-out drink trays located on the inside bookcases. Three of the bookcase sections include integrated charging stations, and an additional black outlet is built into the base of the Murphy bed system. The drawing packet shows the complete wall unit at approximately 151 3/8″ wide and 87 1/8″ tall, creating a substantial custom built-in that transforms one room into both a functional office and a comfortable guest bedroom.
