Built from painted Maple and finished in a clean White Lacquer, this wall bed features WWBeds’ New Yorker face design with traditional applied molding, a Large Crown, Standard Base, and coordinating nickel hardware. The face uses 16″ nickel bar pulls, while the upper storage doors feature 6″ nickel bar pulls.

The single-fold inset desk provides a generous work surface while the Murphy bed is closed, making this design especially well suited for a home office, flex room, or guest room where space needs to work harder. When it is time for guests, the queen-size Murphy bed folds down to create a full sleeping area without sacrificing the room’s everyday functionality. The drawing packet also shows the desk configuration as a dedicated working position when the bed is stored.

Inside the open Murphy bed is a 3″ headboard with an integrated white charging station, providing convenient access to power while in bed. Above the sleeping area, inset LED lights with white frames add built-in illumination, while the 19″ upper bookcase with shelves provides additional storage above the bed cabinet. For a more built-in appearance, this custom Murphy bed was designed with extra cabinet depth to accommodate the 3″ headboard and a 7″ base molding cutout, allowing the cabinet to sit flush against the back wall even when the room has existing base molding.
