Whitewash Monitor Murphy bed 123-0526

This custom Queen Murphy bed with desk, monitor, bookcases, and built-in storage combines a full home office with a comfortable guest bed in one space-saving wall unit. Style 123-0526 is built from Maple with a Whitewash finish and finished with 6″ nickel bar pulls for a clean, contemporary look.

The center features our Templeton Murphy bed face, modified specifically to accommodate a 34″ Samsung S50GC monitor mounted on an adjustable-height VIVO monitor mount. This allows the Murphy bed to function as a dedicated workstation while closed without sacrificing the clean cabinetry appearance.

A Stay Level Desk spans the front of the Murphy bed, allowing the work surface to remain level as the bed transitions between office and sleeping positions. An additional white charging station is installed underneath the desk, providing convenient access to power for computers and office accessories.

On each side of the Murphy bed are full-height custom bookcases designed to sit directly against the wall at approximately 20″ deep. The bookcases include open display shelving, enclosed storage, white charging stations on both sides, and drawer storage with a standard upper drawer and lower file drawer. The drawers include soft-close hardware, while the left bookcase also incorporates a convenient printer pullout.

Additional cabinetry runs across the top of the Murphy bed and bookcases, creating a finished wall-to-wall built-in appearance while adding even more storage. Integrated LED lighting includes outset lights above the Murphy bed along with bookcase lighting on both sides, all using white-framed fixtures. A second touch sensor provides convenient control of the lighting system, with the other touch control located at the headboard.

When the Queen Murphy bed is open, a 3″ headboard with an integrated white charging station provides convenient bedside power for phones and other devices. This project was also designed with a Queen Jubilee mattress, creating a complete guest-room setup without giving up the everyday functionality of the office.
