Ginsburg Murphy Bed 1222-0426

Style 1222-0426 is a custom Queen Murphy bed with desk and built-in wardrobe storage, designed to turn one room into a comfortable home office, guest bedroom, and organized storage space. Built from Red Oak and finished in a semi-transparent Onyx color, the natural grain of the wood remains visible throughout the entire Murphy bed unit. Oil-rubbed bronze hardware complements the darker finish, including 16″ bar pulls on the tall cabinet doors and 6″ bar pulls on the drawers.

The center Murphy bed features our Ginsburg face design, accented with a Large Crown for a more substantial furniture-style appearance. When the bed is closed, the integrated Stay Level Desk provides a full-size workspace without sacrificing access to the Murphy bed. The desk uses a black mechanism and includes an under-desk charging station, making it convenient for laptops, phones, and other electronics.

Storage was a major part of this custom Murphy bed design. Tall cabinet sections on both sides include clothing rods for hanging garments along with an adjustable/removable lower shelf, allowing the cabinets to function as compact wardrobes. Below each wardrobe are standard storage drawers, while a pullout tray on each side can serve as a convenient bedside drink tray when the bed is open.

Additional features include outset LED lighting with black frames, two convenient touch-switch locations, and a 3″ interior headboard with its own charging station. The combination makes this custom Murphy bed especially well suited for a multipurpose guest room where both overnight visitors and everyday office users need convenient access to power.

At approximately 21″ deep when closed, the Murphy bed keeps the room open and functional during the day while providing a full Queen-size sleeping area when needed.
