Montego Bay Murphy bed 1131-1225

The 1131-1225 Montego Bay Murphy Bed with Corner Desk combines a queen-size wall bed, dedicated home office, storage, and display space in one custom built-in furniture system. Constructed from painted maple and finished in White Lacquer, this Murphy bed features the clean, geometric paneling of our Montego Bay face design. The complete unit measures approximately 133 inches wide and 90 1/4 inches tall, creating a substantial built-in appearance while helping one room serve multiple purposes.

When closed, the queen Murphy bed blends into the surrounding white cabinetry, leaving the room open for work and everyday use. When the bed is lowered, an inside 3-inch headboard provides a finished backdrop for the sleeping area. A touch switch located on the headboard controls the bed’s two inset LED lights, which feature white frames and provide convenient lighting without requiring a bedside lamp. The wall space above the headboard remains open for artwork or room décor.

The integrated L-shaped corner desk creates a generous workspace along the left side of the Murphy bed. The 22-inch-deep desktop is supported by 20 1/2-inch-deep base cabinets and includes a pullout keyboard tray and a white charging station for powering office electronics. Desk storage includes three standard drawers and two file drawers, making this Murphy bed with desk especially practical for a home office, study, or multipurpose guest room.

Above the desk is a 50-inch-wide hutch with adjustable shelves and reinforced 1 1/2-inch shelf fronts. Two LED lights are positioned along the top of the hutch, with two additional lights underneath to illuminate the desktop. The hutch lighting is operated by a separate touch switch located beneath the shelf lip.

A 16-inch-wide bookcase is positioned beside the Murphy bed. The upper section includes open shelving and a mid-height cabinet door, while the lower section provides a pullout drink tray and two standard drawers. The drink tray becomes a convenient bedside surface when the Murphy bed is open. The cabinetry is also designed with space for wiring, base-molding cutouts, and flush-backed desk cabinets for a cleaner installation.
