This custom Queen Murphy bed combines a comfortable guest bed, built-in storage, and a full home office workstation into one space-saving wall bed system. Style 1131-1025 features our Montego Bay face style, giving the Murphy bed a clean cabinet-style appearance when closed while adding the warmth and character of natural walnut.

The Montego Bay is a Murphy bed that resembles two large doors.  The inspiration for this bed came from an employee who visited Montego Bay, Jamaica, and designed the face to reflect the distinctive door style found at one of the local resorts.

The entire Murphy bed unit is built from walnut and finished in a Natural Clear Coat, allowing the wood grain and natural color variation to stand out. The bed face is designed without drilled hardware, creating a simple, uninterrupted look across the front panels.

To the left of the Murphy bed is a custom corner desk with matching hutch storage. The desk includes two soft-close file drawers along with standard storage drawers, giving the workspace practical organization for paperwork, office supplies, and everyday use. Above the desk, the hutch includes open display shelves, a center cabinet section, and built-in hutch lighting with two lights in the upper section and two lights underneath for task lighting across the desktop.

The right-side bookcase adds more storage and display space with adjustable shelving, standard drawers, and a printer pullout. A black charging station is built in behind the printer area, making it easy to keep devices and office equipment powered while keeping cords more organized.

When the Murphy bed is open, the inside includes a 3″ headboard with LED lights in a black frame. The inset LED bed lights provide convenient lighting for reading or relaxing, while the bookcase LED lights and hutch lights help brighten the entire wall unit. All doors and drawers are soft close for a smooth, finished feel.

This walnut Murphy bed with desk is ideal for turning a spare room into a guest bedroom, home office, craft room, or multi-use space. With the bed closed, the room functions as a clean and organized office. When needed, the Queen Murphy bed opens to create a comfortable sleeping area without giving up the built-in workspace and storage.
