King Size Bullock Murphy Bed in Natural Hickory

This custom King size Murphy bed was built with our Bullock Face, a traditional raised panel design that gives the wall bed the look of fine custom cabinetry when closed. The Murphy bed and matching side bookcases were made from Hickory wood and finished with a Natural Clear Coat, allowing the bold grain patterns, color variation, and natural character of the hickory to stand out.

On each side of the Murphy bed, we added 30″ wide bookcases with adjustable shelves and two lower drawers. The open shelving provides room for books, decorations, and personal items, while the drawer storage keeps the space practical and organized.

One special detail on this Murphy bed project was matching the customer’s existing drawer front. The customer brought in a drawer front they wanted us to duplicate, so we matched the drawer design on the new Murphy bed bookcases to help the custom wall bed blend with their existing furniture.

With its King size bed, Bullock raised panel face, natural hickory finish, adjustable bookcase shelving, and custom-matched drawers, this Murphy bed creates a warm, built-in furniture look while adding a comfortable sleeping space to the room.
