Bullock Face with Fold Down Desk #1418-0225

This Bullock Murphy Bed showcases a rich, traditional design with raised panel solid wood doors and a warm furniture-style finish. The classic face style gives the bed the look of a custom built-in cabinet, allowing it to blend naturally into a home office, guest room, or multi-use space.

Rustic Cherry Upgrade

This one was built using a Rustic Cherry wood.  We can achieve a similar look, without the Cherry Upgrade Price, by using maple wood.

Built-In Fold-Down Desk

A full-width desk is integrated directly into the face of the bed. When the desk is in use, it creates a comfortable and functional workspace. When more floor space is needed, the desk simply folds down out of the way, allowing the bed to open easily.

For customers who prefer a desk that remains level during the transition from desk to bed, our Stay Level Desk option is also available as an upgrade.

Lighting

Outset reading lights are mounted across the face of the bed, providing convenient task lighting for both the desk position and the bed position. These lights are neatly integrated into the design to maintain the clean, furniture-quality appearance.

Side Bookcases and Storage

The matching side cabinets are 24″ wide wardrobe-style bookcases that add both function and visual balance to the overall unit.

• Upper Section: Includes a hanging rod and a glass shelf for flexible storage

• Lower Section: Features two standard drawers plus a pull-out drink tray

• Depth: Approximately 17 7/8″, sitting flush with the bed and lighting

This combination provides excellent storage for clothing, office supplies, and everyday items while keeping everything within easy reach.

Optional Back Panel

In this particular example, a finished back panel was added above the headboard for a more enclosed, custom look. This is a special upgrade and not part of the standard configuration. Normally, the wall above the headboard remains visible.

Crown and Base Molding

To complete the built-in appearance, this bed is finished with our Large Crown Molding across the top and our Standard Base Molding along the bottom. These details frame the unit beautifully and give it a true custom cabinetry feel.
