Style 137-1121 is a custom queen-size Murphy bed with an integrated desk and matching bookcases, designed to combine a comfortable guest bed, functional home office, and built-in storage into one space-saving wall unit.

This Murphy bed was constructed from paint-grade Maple and finished in a clean White Lacquer, with nickel knobs complementing the traditional raised-panel detailing.

The Murphy bed is flanked by 31″ wide bookcases, each featuring two glass shelves for display space along with enclosed lower cabinet storage. The bookcases were constructed in two sections so the tall unit could be stood up and installed with limited ceiling clearance.

An integrated fold-out desk transforms the Murphy bed into a practical home-office workstation while the bed is closed. When overnight guests arrive, the queen bed folds down to create a full sleeping area without sacrificing the surrounding storage. The open-bed design also leaves room above the headboard for artwork or other décor.

Outset lighting was incorporated across the Murphy bed and bookcase area to illuminate the bed opening and display shelves. The unit also includes scribe molding and closeout trim, helping it fit closely to the surrounding walls for a more finished, built-in appearance.

For added everyday convenience, a power outlet was installed in the base of the Murphy bed, providing accessible electrical and charging capability near the workstation.
