This custom Monitor Desk Murphy Bed is designed for modern living—where a single room needs to function as both a productive home office and a comfortable guest bedroom.

When closed, it looks and works like a fully equipped workstation. Monitors mount directly to the face of the bed, creating a clean, professional desk setup. When it’s time for guests, the entire unit smoothly converts into a real bed—without the hassle of taking everything off your desk. Monitors use were 32″ Samsung Odyssey G51C. 

Smart Features That Make It Effortless

Stay Level Desk System
The front desk remains perfectly level as the bed opens and closes. That means you don’t have to completely clear your workspace every time you need the bed. The desk includes two storage drawers and a convenient pull-out keyboard tray in the center.

Built-In Charging and Power
Under the desk is an integrated charging station with two standard outlets plus USB-A and USB-C fast-charge ports. Wires can be neatly routed from the desktop directly to the outlet for a clean, organized setup.

Integrated Lighting
Outset lights are built into the cabinet and operate from two locations—one accessible while you’re at the desk and another from the headboard when the bed is open. In office mode, the lights illuminate the workspace. In bed mode, they serve as perfect reading lights. The matching bookcase lights are tied into the same controls for simple, one-touch operation.

Upgraded 3-Inch Headboard
This bed features our upgraded 3″ headboard, which includes its own charging station and touch light switch—giving you convenient power and lighting right at bedside.

Functional Storage on Both Sides

The 27″ wide bookcases provide real, usable storage. Each side includes:

• Adjustable upper shelving

• Glass shelves that allow light to pass through

• Decorative wood trim on the glass for a finished furniture look

• A raised mid-door creating a 12″ open display area

• Two file drawers at the base for office storage

These bookcases turn the bed into a complete office and storage solution, not just a place to sleep.

Beautiful Custom Finish

This particular unit was finished in a striking two-tone design. The main structure features our durable stock black lacquer, while accent pieces were finished in Dark Walnut on Maple wood—creating a rich, modern contrast that looks at home in any professional environment.
