The Manhattan is defined by its clean, contemporary look, highlighted by two modern false doors across the front. Designed for multifunctional spaces, this version blends a full Murphy bed with a built-in sofa to maximize comfort without sacrificing style or floor space.

Integrated Sofa with Modern Arms
A custom sofa is built directly into the front of the Murphy bed, allowing the bed to fold down smoothly between the sofa arms. There’s no need to move the sofa—simply remove the cushions and open the bed. This design features our Modern Arm, a slimmer, upholstered arm profile that gives the sofa a lighter, more contemporary appearance. Hidden storage is built into the sofa base, with two lift-up panels perfect for storing extra linens or pillows.

Inset Lighting
Inset lights are installed inside the cabinet for a clean, streamlined look. These lights automatically turn on when the bed is opened and shut off when closed. A touch switch on the headboard provides manual control, making them ideal for reading or nighttime use.

Enhanced Cabinet Construction
To provide proper spacing around the sofa arms, the cabinet verticals were increased to 4 inches thick. This adds structural presence while maintaining the Manhattan’s modern proportions.

Finish & Hardware Options
This example is shown unfinished, as the customer chose to apply their own finish. It is also displayed without pulls on the face, highlighting the flexibility to customize finishes and hardware to match your space and personal style.
