The Smithsonian
This bed is similar to our most popular style The
Bullock, but with the fluted sides like the Excalibur. It features
8 solid Maple raised panel door sections with four drawers underneath. We took the leg blocks and
moved them to the outside of the cabinet on top of a large fluted
molding.
When designing this one the customer requested a
fold-out style desk but didn't want it like most on the market where it
looks like it is just stuck on there. I actually designed it with
where the desk folds into the fame of the bed. When open you are
seeing the plywood support that the bed sits on.
This one was
designed by a customer and can custom build this with any
wood and finish (see
FAQ on finishes).
The crown molding and base molding add a lot of character to this
piece.

These units do break down to vary manageable units, but are still too
large for UPS. We do ship on large freight lines to your house.
You will be responsible for getting it in the house. We will ship to
most places in the Continental United States to your front door for $299. Send a Quote
and we'll give you a firm shipping quote.

When you receive you items. Check all boxes for damage and MAKE SURE TO
NOTE ON FREIGHT BILL if there is any. We will help you with filing damage
