Cordes Project Page

The was a large project that I completed in January 2010.  It is based on my bullock style Murphy bed.  This one has two twin versions of that separated by a bookcase.  Connected on the left side is a desk  with wall mounted uppers.   

Across the room was a 72” cabinet with some uppers.  This is similar to standard base kitchen cabinets but slightly shallower.  The counter tops  for both were selected by the customer.  Very nice pattern and texture.  I used a matching oak on the front edges.   We had some left over so I used it on a pullout tray on the bookcases.

What was really cool on this project was the customers involvement.    This customer tuned in to my live video stream daily to watch the progress.  Because of this I was able to get his input at different stages of the building process.

72" Cabinets

This is the matching cabinets on Cordes' project. This is similar to standard base kitchen cabinets but slightly shallower.  The uppers were the same.  They are shown here sitting on top of the lower because these pictures were taken before installation by the customer.   The counter tops were selected by the customer.  Very nice pattern and texture.  I used a matching oak on the front edges.
