It is our simplest version or our Murphy wall bed. This contemporary piece is designed to resemble a bi-fold closet. This is accomplished by cutting grooves into the face panel. This makes it look like a perfect 1/8" gap between the doors. We can custom build this with any wood and finish (see FAQ on finishes)

Includes a $50 discount for a natural clear coat only finish.

Horizontal Alpine

This is our sideways version of the Alpine. This is great or room with low or sloped ceilings. It is priced the same as the vertical.

Price as shown full size: $1540 (Queen $1590)

Suggestion: Because this opens sideways, it doesn't have a true headboard to stop the pillows from sliding off. It would be my suggestion to place this one in a corner to act as a pillow stop.

Shipping

These units do break down to vary manageable units, but are still too large for UPS. We do ship on large freight lines to your house. You will be responsible for getting it in the house. We will ship to anywhere in the Continental United States to your front door for $299. Some restrictions apply. Request a quote for more information and exact shipping charges.

Shipping outside the US call for quotes.

We ship using a "Home Delivery" option with the freight lines. They will schedule the drop of time and date with you once you receive it. Because of the weight you'll need help getting your furniture off the truck and into your house. Note: drivers are not required to help you in the house. If you need lift gate service, let us know that can be arranged. The additional charge is around $95.

When you receive your items. Check all boxes for damage and MAKE SURE TO NOTE ON FREIGHT BILL if there is any. We will help you with filing damage claims.

Information required when ordering:

Bed size (twin, full, or queen)
Fold out direction (Horizontal or Vertical)
Style and features
Wood type
Stain color (this may be determined at a later time. Staining is one of the last steps before shipping). We use Minwax products. Check out their colors at http://www.minwax.com/products/woodstain/woodfinish-color.cfm
Type of wall Murphy bed is going against (wood studs, metal studs, block, brick, or plaster)

After a quote is returned back to you you may reply to the email and we will contact you to finalize the order.

We take all major credit cards and money orders. Since these beds are custom built our payment options are as follows:

20% down for scheduling.
50% due before actual build starts
Balance due upon shipping, delivery, or pick-up.
If paying with credit card, we only require 20% down to schedule your furniture.

*Bookcases are not included in the Quick Ship Plan.

Krob's White Horizontal:

This is a bed that was built in October 2009. It is a horizontal Alpine and finished in a white lacquer. It is a simple version made to look like four bi-fold doors. The customer was greatly satisfied with the product and service. Here is a email that was sent to us:
